WHY LIKE THAT?
TODAY: LIFE IS FAIR.
On Becoming:
Today, I will stop on convincing myself that It will be easy.
Life couldn't get better since it is difficult since Day one.
Today, I will stop on saying to hold on, hang on and It will be okay.
Because I don't know how hard it is for others.
Today, I will avoid saying It'll get better,
because I have no control over anything.
Today, people might not agree with whatever i say. But hell, they don't know anything about what im going through either.
Today, I will not suppress myself when I want to whine
because I'm only human and I have feelings too.
Today, I will try not to hope because It sucks to expect.
Today, I won't push myself too hard. I am not your slave. And Im not living for you.
Today, I will be deaf so i wouldn't get affected by all the problems I hear.
Today, I will be numb because Im so tired of hurting.
Today, I will cry when I feel like crying because I know you won't be there to keep me company.
Today, I will hear you and forget it after you said it.

Today, I will drink a bottle of Red Wine because wine makes me calm, and you don't.
Today, I will transform my bedroom depending on what era I want to live in.
Today, I will only talk to those who deserves my time.
Today, I will avoid sugarcoating and say things bluntly. The hell I care right? You'd hurt me in a snap too.
Today, I will leave those people who doesn't make me happy. I've no space left for you.
Today, I will do the things that will exhaust me lesser. If you want me to do this, Ikaw naka-isip-- So ikaw gumawa.
Today, I will try less because I'll keep on convincing myself that people will appreciate what I do for them but at the end of the day, Im still the bad person.
Today, I won't give more than what I can offer since Enough is never enough.
Today, I will be myself, do things for myself, do what will make me happy
because Life is not about living for others who doesn't know anything but take you for granted.
Today, I will spend money for myself without feeling the guilt.
Today, I will talk fervently to God since I know He's the only one who will never forsake me.
Today, I will live for myself. and not for others.
Today, I will celebrate my being beautiful not through the eyes of others, but by Him and me.
Today, I will be me. I will be happy. I will make life fair.
